The Hotel-Restaurant Krone in the village centre of Leuk-Stadt was probably built in the first part of the 17th century.
If we believe the tradition, Johann Wolfgang Goethe stayed at the Hotel Krone on his journey through the region in 1779. The Krone is said to have been completely rebuilt at the end of the 19th century and modernized again in the 20th century.
The current owner has made further renovations and investments totaling approximately CHF 850,000.00 over the last 15 years.
Among other things, the 5 rooms on the 2nd floor, kitchen (floor/industrial oven), dining room, staircase, buffet and floor in the restaurant, new windows, etc. were renovated. In addition, a lot of new furniture/inventory was purchased. The facade was redone in 2021.
In addition to the private terrace, the upper part of the main square is used as an additional terrace (30 spaces) from spring to autumn. There is a limited period of use here. An extension can be renegotiated.
The KRONE is a well-established restaurant in the community and therefore offers interested parties a very good basis for a successful continuation with an existing or new concept, without the need for further, large investments.
