The municipality of Fétigny is located on the edge of the Estavayer-Le-Lac enclave, along the Payerne – Combremont road axis in the canton of Fribourg. It maintains friendly relations with its neighbors, the municipalities of Cugy (FR), Granges-Marnand (VD), Ménières (FR) and Payerne (VD). These relations are particularly close with the municipality of Ménières with which it shares more and more activities on the school, religious, sports and cultural level. On the edge of the cantonal borders, Fétigny is located in the center of Broye. Fétigny can count on a rich associative life with around ten societies active in the sports, cultural and associative fields.
A dynamic village, Fétigny opened new premises for its primary school in January 2022 and at the same time began construction of a new municipal building and adapted apartments aimed at allowing our elders to stay in the village as long as possible.
