Production process

Wood boilers
Wood-fired boilers are of the "mobile grid with tubular heat exchanger" type. They are designed for a nominal power of 3.0 MW and 2.4 MW. The fuel consists of forest wood with a maximum humidity of 50% on wet weight. The installation operates between 30% and 100% of its nominal power in combustion regulation. The boilers have their own control system managing the combustion settings, the safety chain and the diagnosis of faults and faults.

Smoke filtration
An electrostatic filter ensures compliance with the standards according to OPAIR.

Loos gas boiler
Power: 3,500 kW

Engages in cascade to charge the accumulator.

The boiler is activated in addition to the wood-fired boilers.

Mobile backup oil boiler
Power: 2,500 kW

Manual engagement with 4 tanks of 2000 liters each for a full load autonomy of 32 hours. This quantity is sufficient for the role assigned to it. This boiler is only used when one of the other two boilers fails. The boiler is manually activated to supplement another boiler (wood or gas).

Wood silo
The fuel silo has a capacity of 500 m3; it is buried and the loading is done by means of a silo cover of a length equal to that of the storage room.

The bottom of the silo is equipped with an extractor of the "moving floor" type. The fuel is then transported by a conveyor to the boiler feed hopper.
