New Vernets district
Resulting from one of Geneva's largest urban transformations, the Quai Vernets project (former Vernets barracks) aims to create a vibrant, sustainable district open to everyone, integrating a diversity of local activities.
To strengthen social cohesion and enliven public spaces, 20 commercial arcades ranging from 30 to 269 m² are made available to project owners in six activity areas, between 2026 and 2027. Among these 20 arcades, 6 are still available!

Arcade B16
Arcade B16 is located in block B. Its entrance opens directly onto the neighbourhood square opposite the University of Geneva. The back of the arcade is partly glazed and overlooks the inner courtyard.
It has 269m² of usable space.
The annual rent per m² of usable area is CHF 150.
A storage area of 26m² is available in the basement. The rent is generally between 80 and 100.-/m2/year.
The arcade benefits from ventilation allowing for hot catering (oven, professional hobs, etc.).
The possibility of installing a temporary or permanent terrace is not yet guaranteed due to the noise limits planned in the district. Steps are being taken to negotiate this possibility.
Only one emergency exit is provided. The maximum capacity of the room is therefore 50 people.
